Welcome to the website of kefei dan zhou. He is currently a student at the university of pennsylvania, majoring in computer science and mathematics.

Dan specializes in agile software and web development. For a recent list of dan's (open source) project, see the work & code section below.

The site is designed and implemented by dan using moo.fx (a super - lightweight ajax library) and niftycube (simple rounded corners). Jump to the web development section in the link page for web related resources.

Retroshare - sourceforge.net
Retroshare is next generation sharing network that combines an instant messenger with private peer 2 peer network (LGPL).
SOAP Server/client - source code
Complete lightweight SOAP network built for fast deployment and simple RPC calls.
Locobuzz - alpha site
Event listing and ticket sales for campus events.
Forex Pie - code sample
Backtesting framework and statitics library.
Cipher.py - source code
On-the-fly file encryption/decryption program. Support all common algorithms including AES and Blowfish, as well as private key generation for limited access.
UnrolledList - source code
A specialized list data structure optimized for storing and accessing large number of elements. This implementation uses Java LinkedList and ArrayList. The result is a dynamic list with add/remove operations about a magnitude faster those of ArrayList or LinkedList.
